Title:  RR 0-6-0 #17 - Raritan River
Description:  Nice beefy little 0-6-0 switcher originally built for the US Army as their #4043. It was purchased by the Raritan River RR in 1947 and eventually scrapped in 1954. No date, location or photographer was listed for this photo but Mike Woodruff (see comment below) was able to identify this as South Amboy, NJ. Thanks, Mike!

RR 0-6-0 #21 - Raritan River
Title:  RR 0-6-0 #21 - Raritan River
Description:  This sturdy looking 0-6-0 switcher was built by either Davenport-Besler, HK Porter or Vulcan Iron Works in 1944 for the US Army as #4027. The loco was built for the African Theatre in WW II. After the war, it was purchased in 1948 by the Raritan River RR and worked the shortline until being scrapped in 1954. Specs - 54" drivers, 211 psi boiler pressure, 16.5x24" cylinders, engine weight of 100, 650 lb, tractive effort of 21,701 lb. No location, date or photographer was listed for this photo but Mike Woodruff (see comment below) was able to identify this as South Amboy, NJ. Thanks, Mike!
