This Alco-Brooks Mikado was delivered 10/1918 as an M-1 class locomotive. Photographer C.W. Burns noted on the back "One of 20, St'd tender". It was renumbered on 1/9/1951 to NKP 690. Eventually the locomotive was sold for scrap on 5/3/56 to Luntz Iron & Steel. The day in 1938 is approximate. This is a February, 1968 reprint from his negative. |

W&LE 4311 was built by Brooks in April 1905 as Wabash-Pittsburgh Terminal 2115, became W&LE 2115 in October 1905, rebuilt to W&LE 440 (Class H-6b) in June 1917, renumbered to W&LE 4311 in May 1919, last run in February 1949, sold for scrap in August 1950 to Luntz. |

This Alco-Brooks built Consolidation-type locomotive served a long time before finally being sold for scrap in 6/24/54 to Luntz Iron & Steel. It was built as Wabash-Pittsburgh Terminal 2110 in April 1905, brecame W&LE 2110 in October 1911, rebuilt by Alco-Pittsburgh in April 1917 and became W&LE 430 (Class H-6b), renumbered W&LE 4301 in June 1919, became NKP 4301 in 1949 (Class G-2), renumbered to NKP 921 on 1/18/1951.
