Description:
this 1913 Alco-Richmond built 0-6-0 yard switcher was the first to carry the number 250, long before a U28B had the honor. This was a class S-33 loco used to shuffle cars in the Dallas, TX, yard, a far piece from Chicago or Rock Island, IL! No exact day in 1944 was give for the photo taken by W.D. Barry Jr.
