SDP45!
Title:  SDP45!
Description:  Eola is where the EJ&E hands off coal trains to BNSF, and one of these trains is sitting here. Normally EJ&E units power these trains, but today two of the three HLCX units on lease to the J were used. The leader was an ex-EL SDP45, now rebuilt to SD40-2 specs but still possessing the external features of the unit built for the EL (they chose the passenger version for a longer frame, giving greater fuel capacity). Unfortunately, this is as far as I could go without trespassing. Check out that monster tank car on the right.
