Description:  Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad Class XML-1 23059 at Cicero, Illinois on an unknown day in October 1979, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. This car represents 100 XML-1 class 50 foot boxcars built at the CB&Q's Havelock, Nebraska shops in 1955 in 23000-23099 number series. They were equipped with Evans DF Loader Equipment, and stencilled with DF (Damage Free), barely visible to the left of the door. This group of cars was assigned the BN number series 317800-317899.
