Title:  CB&Q XML-10 23612
Description:  Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad Class XML-10 23612 at Cicero, Illinois on an unknown day in September 1981, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Thrall Car Manufacturing built 36 of these class XML-10 60 foot boxcars in June 1965 (23600-23635), all assigned to Fisher Body in Mansfield, Ohio. It is stencilled: "This Car Exceeds Plate C", and "When Empty Return To Mansfield Ohio". It was reweighed: "E.P.CO. 7-65". The XML-10's were built with Keystone cushion underframes, Evans DF-1 bulkheads, and 10 foot sliding doors. It had an inside length of 60'8", and a capacity of 6349 cubic feet. Note that it still has its roofwalk.
