CB&Q Class LO-6 87664
Title:  CB&Q Class LO-6 87664
Description:  Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad Class LO-6 87664 at Cicero, Illinois on an unknown day in October 1980, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. The following is from Burlington Route Historical Society's publication, Burlington Bulletin 20 COVERED HOPPERS, edited by Hol Wagner: Although GATC had offered the larger 4,180 cubic-foot2 100-ton version of the Airslide car for several years, the Q did not buy any until 1964. And then, in three separate orders, it acquired a total of only 78 of the big 53-foot cars. Twenty-five Class LO-6 cars, numbered 85650 - 87674, were purchased in May 1964, followed in 1965 by three (!) identical LO-6A's numbered 87675 - 87677.
