Built by GE in October of 1966 as PRR U28C #6531, it became PC #6531 upon the formation of Penn Central. After the collapse of Penn Central, it rolled over to the Conrail roaster as CR 6531 but later renumbered CR 6831. It served until the mid-1980's when it was retired.
