Here is a steam locomotive portrait of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9628, an L-2S (2-8-2) "Light Mike" built by the American Locomotive Company as Grand Rapids & Indiana Railroad number "109" during March of 1919, renumbered "9628" in 1921, and retired in March of 1948 after 29 years of faithful service. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. (#31 of 43)
