| Amtrak "Cabbage" 90208, seen on the rear of "Pacific Surfliner" #799 on February 20, 2011, began life as F40PH 208. When the F40PHs were retired, many were rebuilt as baggage cars that, because of the locomotive cab, could be used on the front of push-pull passenger trains. Train #799 has Dash 8-32BWH 510 on the head-end. I hope no luggage fell out of that open door! |
