| EAST OF WEATHERFORD OK Sept 19 1976 -- Rock Island 4432 crosses over East Main Street just before going under Interstate 40 east of Weatherford OK. The Central Oklahoma Railfan Club fan trip is westbound on its way to Clinton OK from El Reno OK. Oklahoma State Representative and Rock Island engineer xxxxxx was at the controls for this well-attended fan trip. The train was turned in Clinton for its return trip to El Reno. I believe the cars used for this fan trip were “camp cars.” The first car was stenciled “diner car.” |
