| This is a C&NW car, perhaps a side-dump ballast car, but I'm not able to decipher the number. Correction:based on a comment received from Curt Beal, I've changed the number to 3853. I honestly couldn't have deciphered the first digit of the car number without the suggestion. Update: thanks to the most recent comment, I have indeed changed the number to 11853. Imagine what a yard clerk would have to deal with, when the freight is moving and he/she has to get that name and number correct! |
