One of the 4 Alco-Brooks Hudsons built for the Nickel Plate in March of 1927, it was classified as an L-1a with 73" drivers and delivering a boiler pressure of 214 psi. In October of 1957, it was donated to Nat'l Railroad Museum in St Louis, MO - only surviving one. This is an August, 1970 reprint of C. W. Burns photo. |
