Looking like it was recently scrubbed and polished, Wabash #614 stands in a Detroit yard ringing its bell. This 1903 Alco-Brooks Atlantic-type loco had tall 83" drivers and produced 215 psi boiler pressure. Wabash shops superheated this class in 1928 which reportedly increased power by almost 30%.
