Trenton/Princeton Traction Company  Contributor's Pick!
This bridge was owned by the T&P Traction Co. It carried a trolley track from Trenton to Princeton (as the name says) back in the early 1900s. The line was sold to the Reading Company sometime in the 1930s or '40s and then abandoned not long after it was purchased. That is what I heard, but some have been saying that they have seen local freights on the line up until the 1980's circa. The bridge can be seen from the rear of the parking lot of The Home Depot. If anyone out there can help me with more information about the T&P please feel free to send me a comment or email.
