| United Grain appears to have a new Republic little workhorse running around now that the old, venerable 1000/1200/1500s seem to have disappeared. While it is bright, shiny, and new (and potentially smells better than the old ones), its a little sad to see them gone as 2015 draws to a close. Of course, it would be nice if this is to become the active unit a registry number would be welcomed (and maybe make up for the horrid little noises the thing makes compared to a real train engine (no insult intended, but it sounds like a lawn-mower). |
