UP 3205
In 2004, the UP began upgrading the Ft. Collins branch to allow 6 axle power to be used. Traffic was increasing on the Great Western and the UP would be handling larger, more frequent trains. Part of this upgrade included building a siding along the UP track eliminating the need to use BNSFs North Yard. In this photo, 5 UP motors are in North Yard to interchange with the BNSF and GWR.
