Date approximate. The remnants (ties) of the former team track siding are in the foreground. Ridge Rd. is in the background. Apparently the siding trackwork had not been completely restored after the December 1968 derailment and the "fix" at that time retained some of the old switch elements, resulting in this mess - a couple of hoppers picked a spiked switch point, frog or low joint. |
