The origional cabnet photo is difficult to read, but it looks like this is the MEC station at Damariscotta Mills on the Rockland Branch at Mile P58.16. The two box cars are Grand Trunk 28479 and Maine Central 8050. It looks like an apprentice telegrapher is standing in the doorway... Estimated date is 1890. Photographer unknown.. /DL |
