This old print taken from a post card scene gives the location and notes that the water tank was built in 1909. As the tracks run down the west side of Messalonskee Lake this scene must be looking westbound towards Royal Junction. The old (well new then) MEC Granite Mile Post says P75 and cnfms the westbound view. On a c2017 map there is a Station Road off of Rt11 that fits for the clues were given in this photo. I wonder if the canoe was made in Old Town? |
