| The clock tower at Waterbury is a distinctive feature of the station, and is visible from around town, and also I 84, which passes south of the station. This was once all New Haven territory. Now the commuter trains are run by Metro North, and the freight, at the time was handled by Guifords B&M, as it had been since Conrail sold most of its Connecticut lines in the early 80s. |
