Hagerstown. Here is the second of two successive duplicate 35mm color slides of photos by Bill Price that were taken near Hagerstown, Maryland, on 8 May 1956. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1349, an L-1S (2-8-2) "Mikado" built in Juniata during August of 1915 and retired in August of 1959 after 44 years of faithful service. Note the trusty water plug at the right.
