NKP 2-8-2 #956 - Nickel Plate Road         
Typical action shot of a 2-8-2 Mikado built by Lima in March of 1917 for the Nickel Plate (New York, Chicago & St Louis RR). The loco served faithfully until being sold for scrap in November of 1963 to Luntz Iron & Steel Co. Specs - builder #5437, class H-5a, 63" driveres, 200 psi boiler pressure, 24x32" cylinders, engine weight of 291,750 lb, tractive effort of 49,737 lb. No location or date was given for the photo.
