Southbound Kansas City Southern coal train No. 91 was rolling by the depot at Siloam Springs, Arkansas. The locomotives on the front were three SD40-2's - KCS 661, BN 7268 and KCS 639 - along with BN C30-7 5109; while the mid-train slaves were KCS SD40-2 675, SD40 607 and SD40-2 681. The coal originated on the BN in Wyoming's Powder River Basin, and the train was delivered to the KCS in Kansas City.
