K812
K812 (Mulberry, FL - Chicago, IL Clearing Yard) has had a stressful afternoon. The train stalled out going through Baker Tunnel (roughly four miles south of here) when the third locomotive cut out. Q500 was behind them at Bakers and wound up cutting off the lead locomotive from their train and pushing K812 up the hill to Greenbrier. K812's crew would then tie their train down on the Courtland stretch of double track and bring G108 into Nashville, as its crew had dogged while waiting for K812 at Courtland. The lead locomotive from Q500 will cut off and return to its train, which is parked on the main six miles south at Bakers. Precision railroading at its finest!
