| A very unusual place to find a solitary freight car. PROX 17030 spotted on CN rails atop the causeway leading to the former C&NW bridge over Little Lake Butte des Morts at Menasha, WI, on 15 May '20. The bridge itself is now part of the Friendship Trail, often erroneously referred to as the Trestle Trail. This causeway is still used by locals to serve nearby industries. It is depressing to see this once proud and busy C&NW main line reduced to a spur. |
