Wearing the unique "cobra-hooded" semi-circular water heater collar in front (Coffin feedwater heater), this 2-8-4 Berkshire was built by the Lima Locomotive Works in September of 1929 for the Boston & Maine. Although not well received by the B&M for several problems with the trailing truck and articulation, the loco served nearly 22 years before it was retired and scrapped in June of 1951.
