Caltrain 900         
Caltrain 900 prepares to depart San Jose with a southbound train. 900 was built in 1985; the first of 18 F40PH-2s part of the original order (JPBX 900-917). These were supplemented by two more F40s ordered and built in 1987 (JPBX 918 and 919). These, along with 3 MPI F40PH-2Cs, make up the majority of Caltrains current 29 engine fleet.
