DH 4-6-0C #555 - Delware & Hudson         
A crew member seems to be checking out the front of the loco while it stands a the Port Henry, NY station. Delaware & Hudson 4-6-0 camelback #555 was built by Alco-Schenectady in January of 1907. The loco served well for nearly 28 years before being scrapped in May of 1935. Specs -class D-3-B, 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 21x26" cylinders, engine weight of 188,400 lb and tractive effort of 31,450 lb. The photo is from the Harold K. Vollrath collection.
