ME 2-4-0 #7 - Morristown & Erie         
Originally built by Alco-Schenectady in April of 1905 (sn 307489 as Quebec & Lake St john 2-4-0 #14, it was eventually sold to Morristown & Erie on January 1, 1917. The little 2-4-0 Porter type steam loco served well until finally meeting the scrapper's torch on April 9, 1952. Original spcesd - 51" drivers, 26x24" cylinders, engine weight of 80,000 lb. No photographer was listed for this rare photo and no exact day in the summer of 1949 was given.
