Oh my!!!! Quick, one of the faux safety inspectors/ Amtrak volunteers call the UP!!!! There is smoke pouring from that engine. It might blow up at any second!!!!

It's far more sinister than sand. They have to make something out of it. They've called the UP because of "burning brakes." Imagine that.... the smell of brakes as a train goes downhill. A comp bar joining two different weights of rail was called in as a defect. The list goes on and on.
