Description:  Nice view of the 1910 Baldwin built 2-8-0 C Consolidation camelback that served until July of 1948, long after the other two in the E-9 class were scrapped. Specs - class E-9 class, 50" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 20x26" cylinders, engine weight of 153,200 lb, tractive effort of 35,360 lb. The loco was later superheated by the LNE shops. The date, actual photographer and location were not listed for the photo but it appears to be the roundhouse at Maybrook, NY.From the Bob Lorenz collection.
