Description:
MDiv. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Fred Kern that was taken in Mount Union, Pennsylvania, on 29 August 1953. According to Paul Carleton in his (1989) book entitled "Pennsy Steam: A To T" (page 10), "Next, a narrow gauge oddity: A odd 6093. Pittsburgh built this little saddle tank kettle in 1906 for use on Pennsy's slim gauge track serving the company's railroad tie creosoting plant in Mount Union, Pa." ("Stoneborobranch"; #5 of 56)
