Portraits 2. Here is a steam locomotive portrait of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #7209, an H-10S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during November of 1913 and retired in April of 1950 after 37 years of faithful service. Note the Hostler on the tender's deck, refilling the reservoir. "Fill 'er up, Mack!" The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. (#18 of 36) |
