Here is a steam locomotive portrait of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3876, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during June of 1923 and retired in April of 1950 after 27 years of faithful service. In this context, it's set-up for "The Red Arrow." Note the experimental "elephant ears." Wave to the Fireman! The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. (#35 of 36)
